Court Lane Gardens, 7

Proposal:

Specie and Location of Tree

A Weeping Willow tree approximately 16m in height, situated at the bottom of the rear garden.  The tree has a very large growing bough which is split close to the main trunk and is encroaching over garden sheds in both numbers 7 and 6.  The bough is considered to be unstable and therefore dangerous.

Description of Approved Works

Remove by severing at the main trunk.  Check the upper canopy for dangerous branches and decay.  Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points.
