Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A Yew tree approximately 5m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary close to a Garden Room.  The tree is very dense and wide spreading.

T2.          A Silver Birch tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated close to the house on the right-hand side boundary.

T3.          A multi-stemmed Magnolia tree approximately 6m in height, situated in the centre of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height may be reduced up to 1.50m and side growth trimmed back proportionally whilst retaining the basic shape.

T2.          Low branches to be lifted up to 1.5m together with the removal of deadwood.

T3.          Lightly thin by 15% including the removal of dead wood.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.
