Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.         A Hazel nut tree approximately 6m in height, situated close to the front of the house.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.

T2.         A Silver Birch tree approximately 9m in height, situated on the boundary close to the front righthand corner of the house.

T3.         A line of Oak trees approximately 12m in height, situated along the right-hand side boundary adjacent to the side of the house.  The trees are a little wide spreading.

T4.         A Weeping Willow tree approximately 18m in height, situated towards the bottom right-hand corner of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense.

T5.         Two Hazel nut trees approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the bottom boundary, of the rear garden.  The trees are a little dense and wide spreading.

Description of Approved Works

T1.         Crown thin by approximately 25% including the removal of any dead wood, lifting of low branches, and trimming back from the house, ensuring the height and basic shape is retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T2.         Remove one low branch by pruning at the main trunk.

T3.         Branches encroaching towards the house to be trimmed back as necessary.

T4.         Crown thin by approximately 25% including the removal of any dead wood, lifting of low wide spreading branches by pruning at the main trunk, and the necessary shaping of the tree, ensuring the height and basic shape is retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.

T5.         Reduce in height and breadth by up to 50% and re-shape as necessary.
