Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T4.         A multi-stemmed Ash tree approximately 22m in height, situated on the right-hand side towards the bottom of the rear garden.  The tree has been identified as being in poor health and condition.

T6.         A triple stemmed Ash tree approximately 20m in height, situated close to (T4) above. The tree has been identified as being in poor health and condition.

Description of Approved Works

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removals of the above, four replacement trees of some stature should be planted in convenient locations nearby in the rear garden and below are the four alternative species for consideration:

Aesculus carnea                                                     (Red Chestnut)

Paulownia tomentosa                                              (Foxglove tree)

Robinia pseudoacacia ‘Frisia’                                    (Yellow leafed False Acacia)

Carpinus betulus                                                     (Hornbeam)

 

The new trees should be planted during the November 2023 and March 2024 planting season with a stem girth of between 22-24cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 4m.
