Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A multi-stemmed Cypress tree approximately 10m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary of the front garden.  The tree is a little tall and dense.

T2.          A Eucalyptus tree approximately 16m in height, situated close to the house on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is very dense and wide spreading, and an incorrect specie for its location.

T3.          A Sycamore tree approximately 16m in height, situated in the bottom right-hand corner of the rear garden.  The tree is very dense.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Reduce in height by approximately 20% and the side growth rounded off proportionally and trimmed back as much as possible whilst retaining green foliage and not exposing the inner dead wood.  Alternatively, the tree may be removed on the proviso that a new tree is replanted in the front right hand corner of the garden.

T2.          Remove and the roots grubbed out.

T3.          Crown thin by 25% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.
