Proposal:

Specie and Location of Tree

A Yucca (Palm) tree approximately 5.5m in height, situated on the bottom boundary of the rear garden. The tree is a little dense and wide spreading into the adjacent Magnolia.

Description of Approved Works

Remove and the roots grubbed out.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted in a convenient location of the front garden and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Crataegus ‘Paul’s Scarlet’              (Crimson May tree)

Sorbus aucuparia                              (Rowan)

Acer griseum                                      (Paperbark Maple)

The tree should be planted during the November 2022 and March 2023 planting season with a stem girth of between 14-16cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.
