Proposal:

Specie and Location of Tree

An Oak tree approximately 5.5m in height, situated within the hedge on the right-hand side boundary of the front garden.  The tree is sited too close to the house.

Description of Approved Works

Remove and the roots grubbed out where possible.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removal of the above, a replacement tree is to be planted on the front boundary with Alleyn Road and below are the three alternative species for consideration:

Ginkgo biloba                     (Maidenhair tree)

Betula nigra                        (River Birch)

Cercis siliquastrum          (Judas tree)

The tree should be planted in the first planting season between November 2021 and March 2022 with a stem girth of between 16-18cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.
