Proposal:

Species and Location of Trees

T1.          A False Acacia tree approximately 16-18m in height, situated in the right-hand corner adjacent to Alleyn Rd.  The tree is a little dense and covered in Ivy.

T2.          A multi-stemmed Cherry tree approximately 7.5m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary towards the bottom of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense and wide spreading.

Description of Approved Works

T1.          Crown thin by 20% including the removal of dead wood and necessary re-shaping.  The height and basic shape should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, rather than an all-round reduction or pollarding which is not permitted.  Ivy should be severed at the base and removed where possible.

T2.          Crown thin by 30% including the removal of selected stems and small base growth stems, particularly wide spreading stems to create a more compact specimen.  The height should be retained.  It is important to prune branches at convenient growth points, where possible.
