Species and Location of Trees

T7.          A Cherry tree approximately 9m in height, situated on the left-hand side boundary midway down the rear garden.  The tree has fallen across the boundary into the neighbouring garden at No 49.

T10.        A Weeping Willow tree approximately 12m in height, situated in a central location near the bottom boundary of the rear garden.  The tree is dead.

T11.        A Holly tree approximately 8m in height, situated on the bottom boundary to the left-hand side of the rear garden.  The tree is a poor specimen.

T14.        A Cherry tree approximately 9m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary midway down the rear garden.  The tree is in poor condition.

T15.        A self-sown Ash sapling approximately 5m in height, situated too close to the house on the right-hand side boundary of the rear garden.

Description of Approved Works

T7.          Remove and the roots grubbed out.

T10.        Remove and the roots grubbed out.

T11.        Remove and the roots grubbed out.

T14.        Remove and the roots grubbed out.

T15.        Remove and the roots grubbed out.

Details of Replacement Required

As a condition of the removals of the above, three replacement trees should be planted in convenient locations of the rear garden and below are the alternative species for consideration:

Aesculus x carnea                             (Pink Chestnut)

Betula jacquemontii                       (Silver Birch)

Robinia pseudoacacia ‘Frisia’       (Yellow False Acacia)

Arbutus unedo                                  (Strawberry tree)

Paulownia tomentosa                    (Foxglove tree)

The trees should be planted during the November 2022 and March 2023 planting season with a stem girth of between 14-16cm at 1m above ground level and at a minimum height of 3m.
