Species and Location of Tree

A twin-stemmed Ash approximately 16m to 18m in height, situated on the right-hand side boundary towards the bottom of the rear garden.  The tree is a little dense and out of shape with significant dead wood and several large cavities in the main structure.

Description of Approved Works

Reduce in height by approximately 50% including the removal of dead wood, the remaining crown should be thinned by up to 20% and the tree thoroughly checked by the tree surgeon for possible decay in the cavities.  It is also important to prune branches at convenient growth points where possible.
