9. Satellite Dish Aerials
Almost all installations require the specific consent of the Managers under the Scheme of Management and you are encouraged to contact the Scheme of Management office to discuss proposals in advance:
The Scheme of Management requires that no material alteration is to be made to the external appearance of any building or structure on an enfranchised property and no new or additional building or structure is to be erected without the prior written approval of the Managers.
The Managers of the Scheme are the Incorporated Trustees of The Dulwich Estate and written approval for alterations is provided to applicants by way of a Licence.
Applications must comply with the following:
1. The satellite dish must not be visible from the road or located above the eaves of the roof and must be unobtrusive to neighbours;
2. The satellite dish is not to exceed a maximum diameter of approximately 600mm (2ft);
3. No dish aerial will normally be permitted in front gardens. Rear or side gardens may be considered as acceptable locations provided the satellite dish would be unobtrusive to neighbours;
4. In certain locations, it may be a condition of any approval that the dish is painted in a suitable colour to match or blend in with the surrounding materials.
